Well…this isn’t supposed to be a place to complain about restaurants and services. This blog started out to be a place to give praise to restaurants, bars, events, etc. and ignore the negatives.
But, if an establishment can’t get it right, the local patrons should know. Maybe with enough bad press, they will get it right. So here it is. A group of my friend and I went to Looper’s Grille & Bar, located at 313 East 3rd St., Bethlehem, PA. We were treated horribly. Menus were thrown across the bar to us. The bartender was a real jerk. We did not feel welcomed at all.
Being a bartender is more than knowing how to mix hundreds of different martinis. It is about customer service. One of my fav bars does not have an extensive list of martinis but their customer service is beyond reproach. So is it the product or the service that brings me back? A little of each. In the case of Looper’s….they won’t see me again despite serving a good death by chocolate martini. Hell, I can mix one just as well. I want a nice atmosphere, a good drink and pleasant service.
I suggest to all in the area looking for a good martini….go elsewhere.
